Portrait miniature painted on ivory, representing the Emperor of the French in a palace, holding the scepter summoned of the statuette of Charlemagne, his imperial crown placed on a table covered with blue velvet embroidered with imperial arms.

Good condition, no restoration.

Signed and dated at the bottom left, on the base of the column : Carbonnet p. / Nancy 1807.

Original gilt bronze rectangular frame.

H. 12 cm.
