Cut crystal and gilt bronze clock, cylindrical shaft, engraved bronze dial decorated with sunflowers, partly enamelled (small chips of enamel), resting on a square base. Overmounted by a gilt-bronze bust of Homer.

By L'Escalier de Cristal, Paris, Restauration period (acquired directly from the famous glass and crystal antique dealer of the Palais-Royal).

Mark on the dial: Veuve Désarnaud à L'Escalier de Cristal.

H. 39 x L. 18.5 cm. Bust: H. 14 cm.
