WHO WE ARE

Royal Provenance Gallery is now located in front of the Opéra Garnier, since April 2019, in an apartment-showroom on the 4th floor. This move marked a decisive turning point in the development of our gallery, previously located in the 8th arrondissement at 45 rue de Penthièvre. Since the beginning of 2019, the Gallery has expanded, both in terms of space and partners. The gallery’s director, Maxime Charron, has teamed up with one of his close collectors and has taken over a more prestigious and vast exhibition space.  This new upstairs space offers our customers and collectors more privacy while being an exhibition space filled with history and elegance.

The aim of our gallery is to offer to collectors, dealers and museums worldwide, rare and interesting works of art and furniture provided with a royal provenance, if possible, or with any other provenance that we could have found. Our passion and our taste for unique and beautiful works of art are linked to the natural quality of royal provenance items.

We are particularly specialized in Sèvres porcelain, notably from the 19th century, but we also buy and sell other types of works of art, like silver, paintings or gilt-bronze, and also French furniture. Our experience in the art field and our knowledge of the international art market allow us to propose to our clients a range of choice widened by more than three hundred pieces.

After several participations in national art fairs such as the Salon de l’Objet d’Art at the Grand Palais and the Parcours de la Céramique, the Royal Provenance Gallery’s vocation is to exhibit at international art fairs from 2020.
