A RARE SEVRES JASMIN VASE
From a King Louis-Philippe residence
Object n°117
Hard-paste porcelain vase of Jasmin shape, ornate at the center with the king Louis-Philippe gilt cipher, identical as the Service des Bals’ cipher, on a white background, gilt rims.

Cracks and repairs.

Sèvres porcelain Royal factory, 1845.

Marked with the gilder mark of Moyez.

Extremely rare mark of inventory number, probably from one of the Emperor Napoleon III’s residence inventory : T C6474.

Heigth : 26 cm.

Provenance

The inventory mark should come from the Tuileries palace, where this vase should ornate one of the rooms of the King or of his family. We don’t know other piece like this in the French museums collections, the King’s cipher is very rare out of pieces from table services.
