Porcelain Pestum-shaped covered sugar bowl, with a brown background decorated in the center with a cameo on each side depicting an antique head on a red background, bordered by a frieze of rhythmic vases and gold scrollwork, the border with polychrome decoration of a vine frieze on a matt gold background.

Sèvres Imperial Factory, 1808.

Red stamped mark dated (180)8.

Painter: Teutch or Deutsch (active 1803-1817), without visible mark.

Good general condition, one restoration.

H. 14 x D. 10 cm.

Provenance

Cabaret described "brown brown background cameos and decoration in gold by Teutch", entered the Sèvres sales store on November 15, 1809 (Vu1, 85) and composed in particular of 12 cups for a total price of 1.112 francs.

Unfortunately, we do not yet know its recipient.
