Miniature oval painted in watercolor and gouache on ivory.

Signed and dated "Duchesne de Gisors. Paris 1830" on the left.

H. 14.5 x L. 11 cm.

In a rich chiseled and gilded bronze frame decorated with foliage, palmettes and frieze of water leaves.

H. 27 x L. 19 cm.

At the back the inscription : "Portrait de la Princesse Louise Marie Thérèse Charlotte Isabelle d'Orléans donné par elle-même à la M(arqu)ise de R... le 9 août 1832 avec le Prince Léopold de Saxe, roi des Belges".
