With gilt decoration on the marli of a foliage frieze and florets between two nets called "frise d’or saule".

Sèvres imperial factory, 1814.

Red mark and gold stamp qz for 1814.

Very good condition.

Provenance

These plates come from a restocking for the frise d’or saule service delivered in 1809 for Mr Erault, Maître de la Bouche district, for the Grand Maréchal's table at the Palais de Compiègne (see Napoléon Ier et Sèvres, L’art de la porcelaine au service de l’Empire, collective book edited by Camille Le Prince, Paris, 2016, n° 124).
