Crystal cut wine glass with flat ribs, bicolor transparent and amber, flared shape resting on a pedestal with baluster barrel, decoration engraved with the wheel of garlands of flowers and in the center of the figure of King Louis-Philippe.
Good condition, wear on the foot.

This unique model of glass must have served as a sample or an exhibition model for Baccarat at a World Exhibition or for those of Industry Products, or else to be directly presented to the King.
We know of a similar model, engraved with the King's figure and executed for Louis-Philippe by Baccarat in 1840, kept in the Baccarat heritage collection, adorned with a red button (illustrated on the cover of the catalog below and opposite).
