History

MacDonald married Napoleon's sister in 1830, but according to Jean Tulard, he married him organically in 1817. Both lived together in Florence, in Annalena's palace, via Romana, where the Queen of Naples seems to be in our watercolor, palace that MacDonald acquired in 1820.
