Two Pestum-shape porcelain milk jugs of 1st and 2nd size, with central decoration of the cipher of King Louis-Philippe in gold in a crown of laurel and oak leaves, the upper border decorated with an ivy leaf frieze in gold, gold threads on the edges.

Good condition, slight restorations on the feet.

Sèvres Royal Factory, 1838-1843.

Marks with blue stamps, one marked with the red stamp of the Tuileries castle, marks of the gilder Moyez.

H. 18 and 15 cm.

Service of the Princes delivered for the use of the children of King Louis-Philippe at the Château des Tuileries (for one).

The service of the Princes was the second service of the table of Louis-Philippe after that of the King himself, it was intended for semi-official meals, intimate meals of the Royal Family and visits of the princes in the different residences of the Orleans.
